1L Stacking 3D shapes

1L have been recognising and naming 3D shapes this morning.

They stacked a range of 3D shapes to make towers, thinking about the size and shape of each one and where they would place them in their tower. When they had finished they discussed the names of the 3D shapes that they had used and what properties of the shapes made them suitable for building their towers.
