Lesson: Art and design

Today, we have begun to put together our collages using a variety of different textures, colours and materials. The children artistically mind-mapped images to represent themselves and then drew these out to plan their final collages. They gathered pictures and craft items from home and school and began collaging. They have been working on overlapping, choosing colours and using up the space appropriately on the page.
