Year 2 Science Investigation

Lesson: Science

Year 2 were back in the role of science investigators today, this time helping Mr P.Lastique with a problem. He wanted to find out which plastic was the most flexible for his new range of products. 

We planned our investigation and made predictions (as all good scientists do!) This afternoon we took to the playground with water filled bottles and squeezed them to see which bottle's water travelled the furthest. This combined our recently practised maths skills to our science work. We discussed how to make this a fair test and thoroughly enjoyed testing out our predictions. It was then time for back to the classroom to record our findings.
