Our week in R1

As part of our topic this week we have read the story 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'. The children have been very busy learning the story off by heart, retelling and acting the story out and to help them get into character they have made goat and troll masks.

In Maths we have been using Numicon to help us with our counting and ordering of numbers from 1 to 10 and beyond. We have been looking very closely at the shape and colour of the different pieces of Numicon and which numbers each piece represents.
