Over the past few weeks we have started our topic on 'Bronze and Iron Age' following on from our unit on the Stone Age from Autumn 1.
We have been looking at a variety of Bronze age artifacts to make predictions about life in the Bronze Age. We have also been looking at the fascinating discovery of the Amesbury Archer, a Bronze age man who's grave was found thousands of years later. The children used their detective work to make some desicions about why his grave was found with gold, jewellery, patterned pottery and arrowheads in.
