Division - Sharing and Grouping!

Lesson: Maths

In Year 2, we have moved on to learn about division in maths. This week we have looked at both grouping and sharing. First we used concrete resources, such as cubes, to solve division problems before moving on to pictorial representations. We were able to apply our knowledge of our times tables, and key learning from our multiplication lessons last week, to help us. We discussed the difference between grouping and sharing. Some of us were able to make links with other multiplication and division facts too.
