A week all about life in the world around us...

This week have focused upon the world around us looking at closely at different insects, animals and David Attenborough.

We have used the 'Little People, Big Dreams' book all about David Attenborough as well videos online to learn all about his life and the wonderful ways he has taught us so much about life on Earth. We have also used the book 'Blue Chameleon' by Emily Gravett in our Personal Development lesson to think about the importance of making friends with different people and not embracing the way we are all different. 

In other lessons we have created life cycles of butterflies, frogs and ladybirds and also practised writing simple sentences about ants, ladybirds and bees. In maths we have learnt all about symmetry and reapeating patterns using the maths equipment, the art area and interactive games on the whiteboard.
