6B: DT Week

Lesson: Design and technology

Year 6 has had a great DT week. 

Our design brief was to make a healthy snack for an athlete: we focused on flapjacks and how we could include a variety of ingredients that would provide specific benefits.

First we completed some product research, focusing on the taste and nutritional values of flapjacks from the supermarket.

Then we designed our own flapjacks, again focusing on fulfilling our brief.

And today we got round to making them! Hopefully the children will feel ready to go after taking a bite!
