Which materials can change shape?

Last week we looked at the suitability of different materials. We found out which were absorbent and which were not absorbent. In this week's lesson we looked at the difference between rigid materials and flexible materials. We investigated how different materials change shape. We thought about the different properties of each material, to explain how and why objects change (or don't change) shape. This all linked back to suitability of objects too, which we looked at last lesson. For example, why does a wall need to be made from rigid bricks?
