Summer holidays

This page is a record of all the wonderful things Class 4A have been up to during the summer holidays.

Harrison has been playing a lot of sports and was awarded 'Man of the tournament' for his consistency and effort in all his matches.  I'm sure this won't be the last football medal we'll see!

Isabella told us about her wonderful trip to Prague where she saw old buildings, ate wonderful food, rode around on segways and managed to visit the KGB (secret police) museum.  See if you can spot her 'Gangsta Granny'! She also brought in some equipment she used at a CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) activity day.  She explained that she had to investigate a crime scene by dusting for prints, checking DNA and finding footprints.  In order to not contaminate the scene, she had to wear a lot of special clothes so they wouldn't think that she was the burglar. Take a look!

Cadence has told us all about her holiday in Cephalonia.  She explained that she spent a lot of time at the beach looking for sea creatures in rock pools.  As you can see from her hands, she found a very large crab! Cadence had also been snorkelling and saw glowing purple fish in the shallows off the shore.  She showed us all the souvenirs she bought to remember her holiday and hopefully will bring in some pictures.  One thing she hasn't forgotten was how hot it was!

Isabella Fairfield told us all about her trip to Blackpool.  Despite having a nice beach and an interesting pier, Isabella said the best part of the trip was going on 'The Big One' rollercoaster with her dad.  She said it wasn't too scary but I'll let you judge from the picture!
