R1's Tractor Visit & Hens

Class: R1 Year: 2024 - 2025

This half term we have been learning all about our local area, people who help us, harvest time and the story of Little Red Hen. To bring our learning to life we have also had a visit from the local famer and his tractor, and had some fluffy guests stay with us for the past two weeks. 

The children have all enjoyed caring for the hens and looking for fresh eggs each day, along with learning all about the different ways farmers help us and the many jobs they do on the farm each day.
