EU Referendum

In preparation for the EU Referendum, year 5 have been finding out all about the European Union. They have been researching the facts about it and, in the coming weeks, we will be investigating what the responsibilities of the European Union and the arguments for each side of the debate.  We will be holding a school referendum on the same day as the national referendum.  

We will also be considering the concepts of democracy and fair debating and, in particular, whether the voting age should be lowered to include 16 year olds.
