Continents and Oceans of the World!

In Geography this half term, Year 2 are learning about our wonderful world. Last week, we focused on atlas skills and learnt how to locate different information using the index and contents page. We located the 7 continents and countries we already knew, from our learning in Year 1. This week, we focused on the different oceans, using both an atlas and a globe to help us locate the 5 oceans. Some of us found the different seas, which prompted a great discussion around the difference between an ocean and a sea!
