Boat making in R2

This week the children in reception have been learning all about sinking and floating and testing different objects to see if they sink or float. We have also learnt about how to make different boats using a variety of materials.

After thinking and discussing what would be best to use to make a boat the children then made their own boats using a variety of media and techniques before testing on the 'open water'!
