Life on Earth - Creating a Timeline

Year 6 have begun a new unit of learning in science about evolution and inheritance.

The childen created a timeline of life on Earth which began 3.6 billion years ago.

They learned that humans have been around for the last 200 000 years which equated to just 6mm on our 100m timeline!
